‘Travel Grants’ primarily aims to support the mobility of artists and cultural operators to explore, to develop skills, to build networks, and to engage in international collaborations

In the light of the most recent developments, it has been decided that this Travel Grant Call (application submission deadline 17th April 2020) is postponed until further notice. New dates will be announced in due course. This is being done to safeguard the health and safety of our artists, which is our number one priority.

This is a rapidly evolving situation, and Arts Council Malta will continue to regularly check and follow all guidelines issued by the Maltese Public Health Authorities, the World Health Organisation (WHO), as well as the Government of Malta.

The programme

The Grant will support 100% of the costs to implement the mobility project. These may include any of the following:

  • Travel (Economy class)
  • Standard accommodation

  • Insurance and Visa
