Ever wondered what it takes to deliver a great pitch? What presentation skills does it take? And what tools are best to use?

In our next ACMlab session, Dr Nicole Bugeja will be delving into what creates a great pitch, focusing particularly on striking a strong dialogue with the evaluation board. The lab will cater for both online and in-person pitch presentations. The session is aimed at giving participants practical tips and insight into the skills required to maximise and excel during your five-minute pitches.

Nicole Bugeja is a public speaking and performance coach, a theatre performer and artistic director, and an academic researcher and tutor. She coaches skills ranging from confidence building for public presentation, to healthy communication and team building. Since 2003 she has trained theatre with Icarus Performance Project (Malta), and has also practised with international theatre masters including in Italy, Poland and Sweden.

In 2013, she graduated with a PhD focused on Actor Training. Having recently returned from the UK where she was Lecturer in Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Chester, she now runs her practice of Coaching in Public Speaking and Performance. She collaborates with a vibrant network of practitioners and complements her practice through her role as Visiting Lecturer within the School of Performing Arts at the University of Malta, where she keeps researching confidence building and mind training for creative flow.
