Project Title: Our Island III
Amount awarded: € 8,000
SABAR is the third book in aditus’s Our Island series. SABAR brings together the memories of citizens, residents, participants and onlookers of the Malta Protests. Besides the publication of a photobook, the project involves the setting up of an online repository to gather images and video of the Malta Protests held between November 2019 and January 2020. Through creative expression, the book strives to stimulate open debate around the principles of good governance and rule of law, and to help ensure their continued implementation.
