In October 2019, the local death metal band ‘Pilgrimage’ travelled to Bucharest to perform at the Metal Gates Festival. This well-known metal festival is held over two days and buzzes with music aficionados and people working within the music industry. The show was streamed live, where people across several countries tuned in to watch, including Malta.
Their performance was extremely well-received and in fact, following the show Pilgrimage was invited to participate in a festival in Belgium called ‘Darken the Moon’. Apart from that, the organiser of Dutch Doom Days Festival also invited the band to discuss possible bookings for his festival, as he was impressed by their performance.
