Arts Council Malta proudly supports Claire Tonna’s upcoming EP, made possible through the International Cultural Exchanges Scheme.

This exciting project is produced by Grammy-winning producer Jon John Robinson, renowned for his collaborations with music icons such as Diana Ross, Pink, TLC, and Lady Gaga.

Recording commenced in October 2024 at Arcadia Music Studios in Dallas, Texas—an important milestone in Tonna’s artistic journey. Under Robinson’s expert guidance, the EP is set to launch on international music platforms in January 2025. The songs, all written and performed by Tonna, will showcase the contributions of notable musicians, including guitarist John Murray, backing vocalist Shavonne Shalom, and sound engineer Torian Chavis. Together, they have effectively captured the strength and resilience that underpin Tonna's music, ensuring a powerful global release.

This forthcoming EP serves as a source of empowerment, inviting listeners to discover strength through shared experiences. Tonna’s music transcends personal expression; it aims to foster unity, highlighting our shared humanity and indomitable spirit. With heartfelt dedication, she aspires to create spaces where audiences feel seen and heard, reminding us all that connection and healing often follow suffering. Robinson's masterful production encapsulates Tonna’s story and message, ensuring that her songs resonate deeply with listeners in and beyond the music realm.

After 25 years of unwavering commitment to her art, Claire Tonna is set to take her work to the global stage, presenting the richness of Maltese art through her music. The EP, titled **HELD**, will be released internationally in January 2025.
