As its name entails, the project’s main aim is to use music penned for the film industry to attract younger audiences and participants to our musical activities at Soċjeta' Filarmonika 'L-Unjoni' A.D. 1880. The project involves the holding of various outreach activities held in our local community and also a national event consisiting of a concert that was held at the San Anton Palace under the patronage of H.E. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, President of Malta. The concert involved the participation of our wind band, complemented by various string insturments and also the Coro Bel Canto. They also adopting the use of modern lighting technology and visuals to provide a unique experience to the audience.
We do hope that through this project, our community and participants will further appreciate the importance of the use of music in the film industry.
