The sixth edition of Premju għall-Arti- awarding excellence in the arts
The 6th edition has 14 competitive categories with 5 selected projects to be shortlisted as finalists, and 3 honours categories.
The Premju għall-Arti will be happening on a biennial basis, with the next one being in 2025.The nomination process for the awards is based on an open call for nominations which is done online via www.premju.mt. The eligibility period for this edition is between 1st October 2021 to 31st of August 2023, with nominations to be submitted by Friday the 22nd of September 2023 (noon).
The Premju għall-Arti team will then proceed to contact the nominees, for more information to be provided on the nominated work, via the submission of an application form.
The following is also a new aspect in the 6th edition. Nominations received for the :
will go through a further stage of selection – Public Voting, which will also happen on the www.premju.mt website, at a later stage in the year, prior to the Awards Night. Each person will be entitled to one vote on the basis of their ID card number. The public voting will carry 25% of the final mark.
