A networking session for culture journalists and editors to get together with artists and creative practitioners

Artists will present their projects and ideas directly to the journalists, in a session brokered and organised by Arts Council Malta.

The set-up will be informal and will follow a speed dating format – with drinks and conversations around bistro tables. Journalists will span a variety of media.

This session follows up on a number of previous sessions revolving around PR and the media for creative practitioners organised by Arts Council Malta.

The long-term aim is to help artists relate their stories in a way that engages editors/journalists and audiences, developing their skills so that their projects can reach a broader spectrum of audiences. Arts Council Malta is also looking at creating more direct exchange and links between artists and culture journalists/editors.

This session will be held on 3 October between 18.00 and 20.00 at the Fort St Elmo conference hall, Valletta. Email us on fundinfo@artscouncilmalta.org to book your free place. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

This is a great opportunity to present your upcoming project directly to culture journalists and editors. Creative practitioners interested in attending this session should come prepared with a project idea to pitch to the journalists present. The format will follow a speed dating session with timed intervals. More info will be sent to registered participants next week.
