The KREATTIV funding programme is part of Arts Council’s Malta’s commitment to engage educators and creative practitioners in dialogue and collaboration, with the aim to encourage students and educators towards further engagement within the creative sector.

KREATTIV.I targets Early years and Primary education

Projects applying under this scheme should seek to engage students in a process of discovery, exposing students to creative practice.

KREATTIV.II targets Middle and Secondary schools

This scheme encourages the application of arts and creativity to different learning contexts. Projects should complement the curriculum without being driven by it.

KREATTIV.III targets Post-Secondary and Tertiary students

Projects should promote innovation, experimentation and use of new media.

WHAT WILL I GET?

Selected proposals are eligible for a maximum of €5000 to be used over a maximum of 18 months. Projects involving more than one educational institutional are eligible for a maximum of €8000.

HOW CAN I CREATE A PROJECT FOR MY SCHOOL?

If you have an initial idea for a creative project we suggest reaching out to creatives, organisations, other entities, schools and educational institutions through our interactive networking board. The Kreattiv2020 Padlet can be accessed through this link. This board has been created specifically as a networking channel for schools, educational institutions and other creatives who are interested in being part of Kreattiv. You can browse for project ideas which have been posted or reach out with any idea and requirements you might have. As a guiding principle you can use the below:

We are...

Our idea...

What we need...

Don’t forget to leave your contact details for creatives, organisations and schools to get in touch.
