Arts Council Malta’s Annual Report for 2017 is currently available for viewing and download from www.artscouncilmalta.org

The report includes Arts Council Malta’s highlights in 2017, a timeline with the Council’s main events, programmes and initiatives in 2017 as well as information on the budget for the cultural and creative sectors, including allocations to the Public Cultural Organisations (PCOs).

It also includes a progress report on the Council's 70 strategy actions, as outlined in its Strategy2020 – 66 of these actions are already in progress. There is a new section on Strategic Action Highlights which took place in 2017, such as the Malta Pavilion at the Biennale Arte 2017, the Cultural Participation Survey 2016, the first edition of Artivisti, the EU Projects Office and the Cultural Programme of the 2017 Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The report also includes key figures on the Council’s Funding Programmes in 2017, the full list of projects funded through the Council’s programmes in 2017, information on the Council’s brokerage and training services as well as its digital presence and an overview of the ACMlab sessions, training sessions and workshops organised in 2017. Artistic projects funded through the programmes managed by Arts Council Malta are also featured throughout, a testimony to the Council’s work and vision.
