Arts Council Malta will be launching the Malta Digital Games Fund, and an information session will take place on Monday 13th June at 18:30 at the TAKEOFF Business Incubator, Dar Guzeppi Zahra, University of Malta.
The Malta Digital Games Fund aims to provide an opportunity to young developers to have access to expertise and mentoring to improve their artistic and technical skills. The fund forms part of Arts Council Malta’s development funding portfolio.
The programme aims to encourage the creation of digital games by small companies, small teams and groups of individuals based in Malta, support Malta-based creative talent that demonstrates long-term potential, strengthen digital games as a cultural product and promote Malta as a hub for digital design and innovation. Funded projects shall also have a tailor-made mentoring programme and free access to business incubation facilities offered by TAKEOFF Business Incubator.
