Follow these five steps to apply for funds from Arts Council Malta

  1. Identify the right funding programme for your idea.
  2. Read the guidelines and regulations of the fund very carefully.
  3. Check the deadline of the next call and the information that you will be required to provide.
  4. Download/fill in the application form.
  5. Follow the application form step by step.
  6. Submit your application form by the date and time indicated in the guidelines and regulations.

  • The filled-in, official application form;
  • If application is submitted by an independent production company, broadcaster letters of commitment, deal memo etc.;
  • Treatment and shooting script;
  • Bio notes of key contributors to the project;
  • Evidence of ownership of rights for the proposed project or contract of acquisition/transfer of rights;
  • If available: Letter(s) of intent from financing partners; Letter(s) of interest of co-development, co-production, pre-sale/distribution or other, agreement(s).
