Crossroads for Culture - Building a European Cultural Relations Sector

The project will further enhance EUNIC's effective partnerships and networks in order to improve and promote cultural diversity and understanding between European societies and to strengthen international dialogue and cultural cooperation with countries outside the European Union.

The overall long-term global objectives of the project are:

  • To strengthen EUNIC’s capacity for policy development, strategic partnership and the effective and efficient delivery of programmes and projects;
  • To develop and deliver the new strategy for EU international cultural relations;
  • To develop European cultural relations sector so that it is driven by both national and European interests and work bilaterally and multilaterally inside and outside the EU.

As full members of EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture), ACM will be direct beneficiaries of the project’s activities, and will benefit from research and capacity-building activities, publications, conferences, seminars and staff development schemes.
