Christopher Spiteri | Executive (EU Projects), Arts Council Malta
Chris has been working as an Executive on EU projects at ACM for the past five years, where he is responsible for managing EU projects and overseeing the public procurement process related to the successful project implementation. Chris is currently Project Manager of a €1M project awarded to ACM by the European Structural and Investment Funds 2014-2020, which provides specialised and bespoke training programmes to public sector employees in the Cultural and Creative Sectors. Chris is also continuously active in identifying EU funding opportunities and international partners, which has led to ACM’s participation in a EuropeAid project funded by the European Commission in 2018.
Andrea Camilleri | Executive (EU Funding), Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta
Mr Andrea Camilleri is an EU Funding Executive with Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta. SEM provides information about EU affairs and also EU funding opportunities.
In addition to the provision of information about EU funding, SEM also provides assistance to public entities and NGOs in the development of their EU funding applications forms and the implementation of their projects.
Roderick Camilleri | Vice-President, Malta Society of Arts
Roderick Camilleri is a practising artist, curator and art educator. He studied Philosophy, Art and Art History at the University of Malta, and holds a B.A. (2010) and an M.A. (2015). He attended various professional development programmes, furthering his studies at international institutions such as the Royal Academy of Arts (London) and Slade University (London). He also developed a versatile, interdisciplinary approach by exploring diverse artistic methodologies at different professional studios in Edinburgh, Rome, and Marrakesh, amongst others.
Camilleri’s interdisciplinary visual art practice explores themes related to ontology, metaphysics and materiality. He works as a full-time art educator, teaching studio-practice and theory at the Malta School of Art in Valletta and is currently the Vice-President of the Malta Society of Arts. Camilleri was also the Artistic Director of AMuSE, an international art project focusing on materiality and multi-sensorial art led by the Malta Society of Arts, selected and co-funded by the European Commission.
