Brigitte Tanti
Brigitte Tanti is currently Head of Unit, EU Programmes within Malta Enterprise. She is a graduate of the University of Malta, with a Master degree in Knowledge-based Entrepreneurship. Brigitte is the Project Coordinator of the Enterprise Europe Network in the Maltese Islands and was also Head of the previous Euro Info Centre and Innovation Relay Centre Malta networks. She is currently the Malta representative of the Enterprise Europe Network Steering and Advisory Group in Brussels.
Brigitte is also the deputy National Contact Point for “Access to Finance” and “Innovation in SMEs” programmes under Horizon2020 and the National Contact Point for the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. In her career, she has been responsible for a many initiatives ranging from international technology transfer, to business advisory and start-up support, and is specialised in holistic innovation policy and support, and strategic partnerships. She has been a member of a number of European Commission working groups and invited expert in EU evaluations.
Francesca Cassar Farrugia
Francesca works at Malta Enterprise as Coordinator of Incentive Review and Evaluation, managing a small team of people in reviewing projects requesting fiscal and financial assistance from the Corporation, conducting economic reviews of support measures to maximise their effectiveness and organising training events primarily for stakeholders and industry. This follows a three-year collaborative role with Arts Council Malta providing input in the drafting and implementation of the Create2020 Strategy for the Business Development aspect of the Creative & Cultural Industries.
She holds a Masters in Knowledge-based Entrepreneurship from the University of Malta.
