Global Connect is an IETM programme created with and supported by IETM Associate Members. Global Connect aims to make IETM more inclusive, diverse, eco-responsible and accessible by welcoming new voices and perspectives still not heard enough in the international arts discourse.
The past three programme editions have welcomed 43 performing arts leaders and innovators from five continents to IETM. They have become a tangible link between their local contexts and the network by putting their voices forward, sharing their unique perspectives and creating new collaborations with other IETM members.
To continue this trajectory, IETM announces the 2025 Global Connect open call to form the next group of Global Connectors.
The network seeks 10 performing arts professionals and leaders (producers, artists, managers, presenters, etc.) based anywhere around the globe, working in any performing arts genre*, with a proven record of more than five years of professional experience. Inclusive mindset, eco-responsibility and engagement in international collaborations for the benefit of their local communities are at the forefront of the ideal candidates’ practice and work.
The 2025 Global Connect programme offers:
