This research will look for diversity in photography practitioners by focusing attention on the few female photographers active in these areas during the late nineteenth century. The research outcome will become the basis for an artwork that will be created with machine learning and sound. The artwork will then become a part of a group exhibition involving contemporary Maltese women artists, to take place early to mid-2020.
