He has collaborated with such directing luminaries as Alan Parker, Bernardo Bertolucci, Louis Malle, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Neil Jordan and Anthony Minghella. His credits include “Pink Floyd The Wall”, “Angel Heart”, “Batman”, “The Commitments”, “The Crying Game”, “Little Buddha”, “Interview with the Vampire”, “Evita”, “Enemy at the Gates”, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, “Cold Mountain”, “Corpse Bride”, “United 93″, “Casino Royale” and “Quantum of Solace”. He has received 2 BAFTA Awards and 6 further Nominations and 16 MPSE Nominations. The Sound Editing workshop will focus on a diversity of topics of the art of Editing the sound of a film.

Project Title: The Little Tragedies

Together with Clare Azzopardi, Kenneth Scicluna is currently working on a feature-length cinematic adaptation of Immanuel Mifsud's novel Jutta Heim. In February 2018 he will attend a workshop organised by Françoise von Roy and Franz Rodenkirchen, two of the most sought-after screenwriting consultants and script editors in Europe, in Berlin. This workshop would constitute a key milestone in the development process since it is going to be the first test of the advanced treatment (the script outline). The workshop will also create networking opportunities, since it is conducted in the manner of a script-circle, with different industry professionals from various countries analysing each other's work. The workshop is also timed to coincide with the Berlinale, and I will be staying on for three days to attend meetings with the project mentor (Roshanak Behesht Nedjad), and further meeting with industry professionals in conjunction with the project producer (Pierre Ellul).

Project Title: Vocal Technique for Classical Singers

An intensive holistic training programme spread over 27 weeks, to develop vocal technique for classical singing. Session will be held on one to one basis twice weekly. Project Title: Hidden sounds - aristic professional development

“Hidden Sounds: Recording, Composing & Making Installations” is a 5-day intensive learning platform dealing with the subject of sound art. The training course will be held in Aulus-Les-Bains in France, and is designed for creative professionals who are actively practising within this field of work, and who want to specialise further. The intensive course will focus on developing the skills required to create work that connects sound and space, based on sound material recorded in situ, and using specialised equipment. Training will be delivered by Christina Kubisch, one of the world’s most celebrated sound artists working today. The training course enables participants to investigate exploratory, innovative and experimental sound arts practices including experimental composition, sound installation, field recording, site-specific practice, and sonification.

Ms Serra sang in various opera houses such as Vienna State Opera, Royal Opera House and Metropolitan Opera. She made her international debut in 1966 at the Hungarian State Opera House. She teaches in various academies some of which are Accademia La Scala and Mozarteum in Salzburg as well as private lessons. Christine will attend private lessons as well as master classes with Ms. Serra.

Chanelle Briffa will attend a two-month, book and paper conservation placement at the Vatican Secret Archives, often described as a cultural treasure of mankind. The Vatican Secret Archives hold more than five hundred years of international history, interwoven with the history of Italy and Europe. Channel will be tasked to carry out conservation works on parchment and leather documents, maps and charters, and materials containing iron gall ink and other media, while being supervised by highly trained, professional conservators.

The programme offers an opportunity for performance artists to be involved in an international residential program, focused on physical training and artistic research development. During the three week program artists have the chance to refine their contemporary dance technique through daily morning classes with international teachers, while participating in three intensive workshops (one per week), each centered on different methodologies of improvisation and choreographic composition. Such workshops offer the possibility to approach different practices, receive new stimuli, develop your own creativity and learn from the direct contact with internationally experienced choreographers. Collaborations amongst students are encouraged, as well as the possibility to share the results of the 3 weeks investigation in the form of a performance at the end of the program.

The project involves attendance and participation in the intensive summer course in modern ballet senior level at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS). This intensive summer school is being held at the Wallace Studios at Speirs Locks in Glasgow. The course is taught by staff of the RCS BA Modern Ballet programme and who, therefore, give students the benefit of creatively engaging with the different styles taught by these specialists in the field of ballet and contemporary dance. The course is practical, rigorous and aims to prepare young dancers currently in vocational training or working towards it in the near future.

Project Title: Creating and promoting solo work

This is a mentoring programme which will involve a creation of a dance solo, with the aid and guidance of the highly skilled mentor Athanasia Kannelopoulou. The focus will be on the creation process which is specific to making my own work, while also giving importance on how to promote and market the work after it has been created, with the guidance of a dance artist who has been through all of this herself and has expertise in solo making. Near the end of the project, when the solo is structured, Zoe intends on collaborating with artist Niels Plotard on making a short promotional video of the dance piece with the aim of building a portofolio and using it for social media as a method of self-branding.

Project Title: Voice Over and Audio Engineering Training

The course combines online training with the opportunity to work in person with industry expert and mentor Hugh Edwards in a studio and collaborate with other students, and finally record a professional, industry-standard demo reel. The overall aim is to get the participant to improve voice acting skills, audio engineering skills, self-promotion and marketing skills, and gain professional experience in a high-profile studio, then produce a high-quality demo reel, which will allow the participant to get an agent and move into high-end, professional voice acting work with major productions and studios.
