Artistic Proposals for the Festival 2019

Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival is the most important and long-lived musical institution in Athens and the most famous jazz event in Greece. It has an 18 years portfolio and presence in the city, hosting every year various jazz genres brought on stage by contemporary and upcoming artists from all over the world, while keeping a free general admission. The ATJF is collaborating with all countries’ embassies and cultural institutions based in Greece, and it is supported by the Onassis foundation and cultural center.

Artistic Proposals for the Festival / 2019 Dates / Details for Partners and Professionals

The ATJF is a 7-day festival. Each year the 1st day is devoted to the best upcoming Greek jazz artists, serving as a Greek showcase day where professionals from all over the world are invited to discover the new trends in the Greek jazz music scene, while the 6 remaining days are engaged and dedicated to the 18 international shows and performances (3 shows per day). The 19th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival will be held from the 27th of May to the 2nd of June 2019.

For international groups, delegates and artists the festival covers the production costs, accommodation, hotel-venue transportation and a snack/beer catering during the performances at the festival while seeking funding from its partners and supporters for the artist fees, per diems, flights and the airport-hotel transport.

Artistic Proposals Submission Guidelines: Maximum 5 proposals per agency, country, embassy, cultural institution
