Arts Council Malta and Fondazzjoni Ċelebrazzjonijiet Nazzjonali are looking for a professional film script writer to write a 90-minute film script about the Sette Giugno and what led to this historic event
The film will be shown on national television on 7 June 2019. Scripts will need to be finalised by the end of December 2018.
REMUNERATION
The script writer will be remunerated at €9,500 excluding VAT.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Candidates must have a proven track record in the following:
Television, cinema or radio script writing.
Idea generation and delivery of projects from conception to completion.
Selection Criteria:
Applicants should have a proven track record in writing for television, cinema or radio and will be asked to provide a curriculum vitae of their work.
Interested individuals should send a detailed portfolio highlighting their artistic track record.
The applicant will be asked to write a treatment, subject the Sette Giugno events or what led to the historic event. The treatment has to be written in straight prose. Applicants are asked to give us their view of the event, mixing fact and fiction, to create a story that is both gripping and informative, on the events leading to the fateful day.
All applicants must be registered with the VAT Department.
Submissions will be received during office hours at Arts Council Malta premises by not later than 5th November 2018 at noon via email on info.acm@artscouncilmalta.org
