Arts Council Malta is looking to commission a translator/translating company for its official website www.artscouncilmalta.org to ensure the full bilinguality of the website in English and Maltese by end of September 2018. The selected service provider will be required to liaise with Arts Council Malta’s communication executive and assistant to translate sections of the website as required.
Sections of the website have already been translated and, in this case, the service provider will also be required to proofread some of these sections and in general to assume responsibility that the Maltese language used on the website is correct, flowing and idiomatic.
While the end of September 2018 is set as the launch date for the Maltese version of the website, translation services will also be required on an ongoing basis, to maintain the website’s news releases, blogs etc.
Rates are to be specified per word and should include one rate for translation and another for proofreading. This contract will be valid up to €5,000 excluding Vat and shall be on an if and when required basis. The bid with the cheapest rate per word will be awarded the contract, ACM retains the right to terminate the agreement should the services provided not prove to be of a sufficiently high standard.
