The Active Ageing and Community Care Department (AACCD) is launching a call for expression of interest for artists to submit proposals for holding sessions related to arts with older adults in residential homes
Preference will be given to proposals through which the artist together with the elderly work on the creation of an artistic installation or visual art or performance art.

These sessions shall be held in the following residential homes:
Each artist will be allocated to a specific residential home with the possibility to repeat the program in other residential homes.
Programs shall consist of 15 sessions held once a week, unless otherwise agreed according to specific needs. Each session shall be of one hour up to a maximum of one and a half hours. Artists will receive a remuneration of €35 per hour.
These programs could include a pre-agreed expense budget for the supply of materials and supplies. All proposals will be evaluated and artists will be called to sit for an interview to discuss further their proposal.
Selected applicants will be requested to sign an agreement with the Active Ageing and Community Care Department.
Interested artists are to submit their proposals on the Proposal Submission Form provided at the end of this document.
Proposals will be received either by electronic mail on: procurement-aaccd.mfcs@gov.mt or they can be placed in an envelope and hand delivered in a tender box at the Active Ageing & Community Care Department, situated at FXB Buidling, First Floor, Mdina Road, Qormi, QRM 9014
Proposals must be received by noon (12:00pm) of 31st July 2018.
