Dancers must possess excellent coordination skills, a solid background in classical ballet and contemporary dance practices and have the ability to adapt quickly to various working methods and processes

Dancers should feel confident with pointe work.

Applicants are asked to send their photos (face and body) CV’s and a short video link of max 2 minutes at: vacancies@zfinmalta.mt.   

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the audition on 27th of March 2021 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta.

Selected dancers will be asked to stay on for an extra day, Sunday the 28th of March 2021.


COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

ŻfinMalta will put in place all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of both applicants and staff:

  • A limited number of the shortlisted applicants will be called into the studio at a time, and the 2 meter distance rule will apply. 
  • Shortlisted applicants will have their temperature read upon entry to the Mediterranean Conference Centre.
  • The wearing of face masks at all times shall be compulsory. 
  • Shortlisted applicants will also be asked to take a PCR COVID-19 test 2 to 3 days prior to auditions, and will need to present a negative result before entering the studio.  

Successful applicants will enter into a paid contract with ŻfinMalta National Dance Company from September 2021 to July 2022.

Application Deadline: Tuesday 2nd March 2021 at noon CET. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted during the 1st week of March.

This call shall be limited to EU registered citizens due to visa legal limitations for the role in question.
