Shaping the Future

National Arts Education Conference’ shall bring together national institutional leaders, policymakers, and experts from across Europe to explore the future of arts education and the development of a national academy for the Performing and Visual Arts in Malta. Through a keynote speech, institutional position papers, and a panel discussion with leaders from some of Europe’s foremost arts education institutions, the conference will examine the challenges, opportunities, changes and investments required to build a strong, future-facing eco-system that addresses Malta’s unique cultural and educational needs and aspirations.

London Design Biennale

The London Design Biennale is a global stage for world-leading contemporary design and design-led innovation, creativity and research.

Premju għall-Arti

Premju għall-Arti is Arts Council Malta’s celebration of the main achievements of Malta’s cultural and creative industries.  As highlighted in the National Cultural Policy 2021 this is a high-profile national event awarding excellence in the field of culture and the arts, while encouraging more professionalism and distinction within the sector.

Venice Biennale

The International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia is the foremost global presentation of visual art, with an unrivalled international reputation for excellence in the sector. The declared aim of the Malta Pavilion is to offer a platform through which Maltese contemporary artistic practices understood within the broadest sense of the term can be exposed, contextualised and presented to an international audience.

Symposium

The symposium examines Malta’s artistic sector and discusses issues that artists and creative practitioners face, in light of local and global challenges.
