Author Immanuel Mifsud attended the 12th International Belgrade Poetry and Book Festival 'Trgni se! Poezija!'

Tredi Trg has established itself as a publisher that promotes living authors, with a special emphasis on Mediterranean literature. Celebrating the common literary heritage of this region, a series of translations is being published by the name Sredozemlje (Mediterranean), where we are proud and honoured to include the work of Immanuel Mifsud.

Considering that there are no translators from Maltese to Serbian, presenting the work in Serbia implies immediate availablility to readers in Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia and Montenegro. This translation would be available as another bridge language for possible translations into Slovenian, Macedonian and other slavic languages. The promotion of the work, with the participation of the translator and the author, was conducted during the 12th International Belgrade Poetry and Book Festival 'Trgni se! Poezija!' (17-22 May 2018). This year’s festival hosted more than 15 international poets and a number of Serbian poets, translators and other artists. Immanuel Mifsud was their guest, presenting not only the novel Jutta Heim, but also his poetry.

The festival received good media coverage throughout: national television and radio station (RTS) with several programmes dedicated to the cultural events in the country, and several daily papers (Večernje novosti, Politika, Vreme).
