Job Description
Arts Council Malta (ACM) is seeking to engage the services of an individual as an Executive (Digital Engagement) to work closely with ACM’s Head (Communications) and the Communications unit within Arts Council Malta.
General Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver content for use on social media to champion the organisations work and values.
• Manage official website
• Monitor social media channels, responding and engaging with our online community.
• Analyse data and prepare reports on social media performance and assisting with campaign performance reports for wider audience teams.
• Assist with monitoring brand/tone of voice consistency on social media, including overall channel and posts.
• Develop digital assets e.g. infographics, social media shareables, videos.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to manage our library of content assets Digital PR
• Support the placement of guest blog posts on relevant sites.
• Identify and develop relationships with relevant influencers
• Grow knowledge of key audiences, their preferences and responses.
• Learn from external organisations activity and build ideas for testing.
Qualifications
Candidates must be in possession of:
- a recognised Master’s qualification at MQF Level 7 (subject to a minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVET credits, or equivalent, with regard to programmes commencing as from October 2008) in Communications, Digital Marketing, Cultural Management, Events Management or a comparable professional qualification, plus one (1) year relevant work experience
OR
- a Bachelor’s qualification at MQF Level 6 (subject to a minimum of 180 ECTS/ECVET credits, or equivalent, with regard to programmes commencing as from October 2003) in Communications, Digital Marketing, Cultural Management, Events Management or relevant areas, plus two (2) years relevant work experience.
And must also have
- Awareness of SEO, SEM, PPC and web accessibility best practise;
- Experience in using content production tools;
- In depth and up to date knowledge of the main social media platforms;
- Proven track record of working in the cultural sector;
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in Maltese and English;
- Knowledge of the cultural and creative sectors;
- Excellent networking;
- General awareness of office procedures and knowledge of Governments Procurement Regulations;
- Strong organisational and administrative skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills;
- Demonstrated ability to observe and acquire new skills pertaining to external and internal communication skills;
- A creative mindset and the ability to work well under pressure, completing tasks efficiently and handling tight deadlines;
- A commitment to customer service and quality management.

Contract and Salary information
The selected candidate will enter into a full-time employment contract on an indefinite basis. The salary paid will be of a basic salary of €32,008 in 2025 (Grade 5 of the Art Council Malta’s Grading and salary Structure), a Disturbance Allowance of up to 15% per annum and a Performance Bonus of up to 10% per annum.
