If you are unsure of your course provider&#8217;s valid SLC number, please verify directly with him\/her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further information regarding the eligibility for this deduction scheme is available on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cfr.gov.mt\/en\/Pages\/Home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.cfr.gov.mt<\/a>, or by calling the Office of the Commissioner for Revenue&#8217;s Call Centre on 153, or send an email to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:taxpayerservice.cfr@gov.mt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">taxpayerservice.cfr@gov.mt<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the purposes of this scheme, qualifying Cultural and Creative courses are courses in the following areas:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the performing arts (theatre, dance and music),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the visual arts (fine arts, digital arts, photography, design, video, film, painting and sculpture),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>crafts (traditional and contemporary),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>media (TV, radio and other audiovisual) and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>creative writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.mt\/en\/nonformaleducation\/Pages\/Institution\/Search---List-of-Service-Providers.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>&nbsp;for the Cultural and Creative entities providing courses that qualify for this scheme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parents of children under 16 who attended Cultural or Creative courses during 2019 can now apply for a tax deduction scheme of up to a maximum of \u20ac100 for each child.
