The report includes Arts Council Malta\u2019s highlights in 2017, a timeline with the Council\u2019s main events, programmes and initiatives in 2017 as well as information on the budget for the cultural and creative sectors, including allocations to the Public Cultural Organisations (PCOs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It also includes a progress report on the Council’s 70 strategy actions, as outlined in its Strategy2020<\/a> \u2013 66 of these actions are already in progress. There is a new section on Strategic Action Highlights which took place in 2017, such as the Malta Pavilion at the Biennale Arte 2017<\/a>, the Cultural Participation Survey 2016<\/a>, the first edition of Artivisti<\/a>, the EU Projects Office<\/a> and the Cultural Programme of the 2017 Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union<\/a>. The report also includes key figures on the Council\u2019s Funding Programmes<\/a> in 2017, the full list of projects funded through the Council\u2019s programmes in 2017, information on the Council\u2019s brokerage and training services as well as its digital presence and an overview of the ACMlab sessions<\/a>, training sessions and workshops organised in 2017.
