{"id":4774,"date":"2025-02-07T07:54:08","date_gmt":"2025-02-07T07:54:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/arts-council.test\/?post_type=opportunitie&#038;p=4774"},"modified":"2025-02-07T07:54:13","modified_gmt":"2025-02-07T07:54:13","slug":"public-spaces-art-fund","status":"publish","type":"opportunitie","link":"https:\/\/artscouncilmalta.gov.mt\/en\/opportunitie\/public-spaces-art-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Spaces Art Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Public Spaces Art Fund aims to provide tools to increase the awareness of public art and promote opportunities to further advance public art, with a particular focus on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Encouraging the involvement of artists in the design and development of public spaces by facilitating collaboration between artists, planners, architects, landscape architects, and urban designers whenever possible in the total design process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Developing a legacy of public art that integrates art into Malta\u2019s fabric of urban design in order to create high quality public spaces through the integration of art, urban design and architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Encouraging artworks which are accessible to the public either visually or physically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fund is open to undertakings (for which assistance will be granted in line with the de minimis Regulation), as well as those applicants that do not carry out an economic activity within the meaning of Article 107 TFEU (kindly refer to Section 9 of these guidelines for additional information). Furthermore, applicants must qualify as one of the following and must have approval from the respective local council to embellish a pre-set site artistically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Creative professionals\/individual artists\/architects<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Entities registered with the Malta Business Registry (including companies, partnerships, foundations and organisations\/associations)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Groups, Collectives and Consortia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Registered Cooperatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information you may access the guidelines and regulations by clicking&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/artscouncilmalta.gov.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Public%20Spaces%20Art%20Fund%202021%20guidelines.pdf\">here<\/a>.
