This understanding is the basis for Il-Premju tal-President g\u0127all-Kreattivit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme provides recognition and support at the highest level of the State for collaborations between organisations active in the sector of Arts and Culture and in the Social Sector respectively \u2013 especially those working with disadvantaged groups, to engage the groups in creativity and arts-driven projects and increase their level of integration and engagement in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il-Premju tal-President g\u0127all-Kreattivit\u00e0 is linked to the implementation of Arts Council Malta\u2019s ongoing strategy \u2013 with a particular focus on championing cultural rights and providing further opportunities for people to engage in creative expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Programme is specifically linked to important priorities articulated in the Council\u2019s ongoing strategy, namely \u2013 to invest in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A wider spectrum of quality work that inspires community cultural exchange and engages with a broader range of people \u2013 both as participants and audience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Artists and organisations that promote cultural diversity and address cultural inclusion and accessibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Championing cultural rights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The Award forms part of our funding programmes for community exchange, which aim at investing in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increased cultural participation across Malta and Gozo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Better understanding and engagement between artists and communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More diversity in cultural programming<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More importance devoted to a culture that is much more representative of Maltese society in general<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainable development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Il-Premju tal-President g\u0127all-Kreattivit\u00e0 aims at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting organisations and institutions that target the social needs and well-being of the community, especially disadvantaged and hardly-reached groups \u2013 with a special emphasis on children, youth, senior citizens, hardly-reached groups, disabled people, people with different ethnic backgrounds \u2013 through cultural participation and creative expression<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing disadvantaged groups with accessibility to a wide range of quality art experiences and art-engagement activities, as well as acting as a platform for young promising talent and intergenerational as well as intercultural dialogue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incentivising the contribution of organisations active in the arts and culture sector towards community development and collaborative arts projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The Programme is divided into two strands:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strand 1<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>| Capacity Building and Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strand 1 is aimed at supporting capacity building and development, of organisations active in the field of Arts and Culture in line with the aims of Il-Premju tal-President g\u0127all-Kreattivit\u00e0, as established earlier on in Section 1 of the Guidelines and Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strand 2 | Projects \/ Programmes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strand 2 is aimed at supporting projects or programmes that target the aims of Il-Premju tal-President g\u0127all-Kreattivit\u00e0, as established earlier on in Section 1 of the Guidelines and Regulations. The application may seek support for a pilot initiative, or for the development of an initiative that the Organisation has already tried and tested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Il-Premju tal-President g\u0127all-Kreattivit\u00e0 is coordinated by Arts Council Malta, under the patronage of H.E. The President of Malta.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must be working in the field of social and community development, or active in any cultural and creative field to be eligible. The project must target the needs of disadvantaged groups by means of art and creative expression and cultural participation. Applicants must qualify as one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Entities registered with the Malta Business Registry (including companies, partnerships, foundations and organisations\/associations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Groups, Collectives and Consortia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registered Cooperatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schools and higher education institutions or public institutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Voluntary Organisations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il-Premju tal-President g\u0127all-Kreattivit\u00e0 \u2013 Strand 2 \u2013 is currently accepting submission of applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The call for Strand 2 is being re-opened following the submission of non-eligible applications by the first deadline of 05<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;July 2021. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline to apply is&nbsp;<strong>Thursday 2nd September 2021 at noon<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Guidelines<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/artscouncilmalta.gov.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/PtP%20Strand%202%20Guidelines_2021%2022.07.2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>&nbsp;to download Strand 2 guidelines.
