This Call for Applications is being issued under the ESF+.03.243 <em>\u201cStrengthening Malta\u2019s Cultural and Creative Sectors through Lifelong Learning\u201d<\/em>, a project managed by Arts Council Malta. These Grants are co-financed by the European Social Fund+ 2021-2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scheme provides funding for artists and cultural professionals to participate in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Short courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Masterclasses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conferences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seminars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networking opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Training may take place <strong>abroad<\/strong> or <strong>online<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Who is it for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scheme targets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Independent cultural and creative professionals (freelancers, self-employed practitioners)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employees working within private-sector or non-government cultural organisations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes professionals working in areas such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cultural production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exhibition practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theatre, festivals and front-of-house services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultural heritage and historic buildings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing for the cultural sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Festivals and cultural events management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultural policy and strategy development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performing arts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Media arts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Literary arts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visual arts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crafts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. What does the grant cover?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grant may cover:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participation \/ registration fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flights (for training abroad)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Per diem (subsistence) for training abroad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum contribution: <strong>up to \u20ac2,000 per applicant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For online training, registration fees are covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Objectives of Scheme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scheme aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support continuous professional development in the Cultural and Creative Sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen international exposure and networking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage innovation and upskilling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build a more resilient and sustainable Cultural and Creative Sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Key Dates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a rolling Call. The deadline to apply is <strong>30<sup>th<\/sup> November 2026<\/strong>.
