487\/2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prime focus of position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working under the supervision of the Executive Head (International Cultural Relations &amp; Events) within the Internationalisation team within Arts Council Malta, the Executive (Internationalisation)&nbsp; will contribute to the vision of Arts Council Malta\u2019s Internationalisation programme, with a specific focus on export programmes and initiatives forming part of Arts Council Malta\u2019s portfolio, including Malta\u2019s participation in international events and cultural collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist the Internationalisation team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist in the overseeing, coordination, management and the development of Malta\u2019s participation in international initiatives and events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To Assist in the collaborations with International networks such as IFACCA, EUNIC and IETM,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist in the successful delivery of International cultural events held in collaboration with Maltese Embassies abroad, specifically those organised by the EUNIC Clusters worldwide;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist in the management of Malta\u2019s participation in international large-scale events such as at the Venice Biennale and \/or the London Design Biennale;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist in project milestones and deliverables of ACM\u2019s International programmes and initiatives with respect to established timeframes and indicators, to ensure their successful delivery;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist in the management and coordination for International projects, ensuring the effective delivery of any scheduled events forming part of the projects;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To oversee the management, coordination and the implementation of the marketing and communication plans so as to promote international programmes and initiatives, including but not limited to the collection of data, content writing, drafting and editing of information, supporting public relations and marketing initiatives and exercises related to international projects;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist in the drafting of correspondence, open calls, proposals, and reports of international projects;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist in the collaborations with cultural diplomacy networks in order to update Arts Council Malta&#8217;s international strategy for CCSs;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To draft reports and budgets;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To assist in procurement and administration as needed;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chair ACM and Senior Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience Required<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a recognised Master\u2019s qualification at MQF Level 7 (subject to a minimum of 90 ECTS\/ECVET credits, or equivalent, with regard to programmes commencing as from October 2008) in Humanities, Art, Communications, Marketing, Cultural Management, Events Management or a comparable professional qualification, plus one (1) year relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>OR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a recognised Bachelor\u2019s qualification at MQF Level 6 (subject to a minimum of 180 ECTS\/ECVET credits, or equivalent, with regard to programmes commencing as from October 2003) in Humanities, Art, Communications, Marketing, Cultural Management, Events Management or a comparable professional qualification, plus two (2) years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>OR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a recognised Diploma qualification at MQF Level 5 in Humanities, Art, Communications, Marketing, Cultural Management, Events Management or a comparable professional qualification, plus five (5) years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And must have<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proven track record of working the Cultural Sector;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in Maltese and English;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the cultural and creative sectors;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent networker;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General awareness of office procedures and knowledge of Governments Procurement Regulations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organisational and administrative skills and attention to detail;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated ability to observe and acquire new skills pertaining to external and internal communication skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A creative mindset and the ability to work well under pressure, completing tasks efficiently, and handling tight deadlines;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A commitment to customer service and quality management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contract and Salary information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected candidate will enter into a full-time employment contract on an indefinite basis. The salary paid will be of a basic salary of \u20ac32,798 in 2025 (Grade 5 of the Art Council Malta\u2019s Grading and salary Structure), a Disturbance Allowance of up to 15% per annum and a Performance Bonus of up to 10% per annum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the closing time and date of this call for applications, applicants must be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(a) citizens of Malta; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(b) citizens of other Member States of the European Union who are entitled to equal treatment to Maltese citizens in matters of employment by virtue of EU legislation and treaty provisions dealing with the free movement of workers; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(c) citizens of any other country who are entitled to equal treatment to Maltese citizens in matters related to employment by virtue of the application to that country of EU legislation and treaty provisions dealing with the free movement of workers; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(d) any other persons who are entitled to equal treatment to Maltese citizens in matters related to employment in terms of the law or the above-mentioned EU legislation and treaty provisions, on account of their family relationship with persons mentioned in paragraph (a), (b) or (c); or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(e) third country nationals who have been granted long-term resident status in Malta under regulation 4 of the \u201cStatus of Long-Term Residents (Third Country Nationals) Regulations, 2006\u201d or who have been granted a residence permit under regulation 18(3) thereof, together with family members of such third country nationals who have been granted a residence permit under the \u201cFamily Reunification Regulations, 2007\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(f) persons in possession of a residence document issued in terms of the Residence Status of United Kingdom Nationals and their Family Members in Malta in accordance with the Agreement on the Withdrawal of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The advice of the Department of Citizenship and Expatriate Affairs within the Identity Malta Agency should be sought as necessary in the interpretation of the above provisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The appointment of candidates referred to at (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f) above would necessitate the issue of an employment licence in so far as this is required by the Immigration Act and subsidiary legislation.
