The 40th edition of L-G\u0127anja tal-Poplu – Festival Kanzunetta Maltija will be a collaboration between the G\u0127anja tal-Poplu committee, Spazju Kreattiv, Arts Council Malta, the Valletta 2018 Foundation and PBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Considering that the festival saw its beginning in Valletta, it was only natural that the 40th edition would be celebrated in the heart of the capital city, at Pjazza Teatru Rjal. The committee would like to thank the venue management for their assistance in organising the festival. Special thanks also to the Valletta 2018 Foundation for their continued support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L-G\u0127anja tal-Poplu – Festival Kanzunetta Maltija would not be such a success without the creative contribution of the Maltese songwriters and composers. It is also thanks to the voluntary work of the G\u0127anja tal-Poplu committee and various stakeholders who believed in the initiative that the festival got this far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Songwriters, composers and music creatives are invited to participate in this festival in the Maltese language. This edition will include the PBS orchestra which will accompany the participating singers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proposals can be submitted at the G\u0127anja tal-Poplu office, 227 Merchant Street, Valletta on Tuesday 19th April 2016 at 9pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
