This call is addressed to artists interested in participating in the Halaqat residency programme with an individual project focusing on the themes of gender and care.
In total eight artistic residencies will be taking place between January and September 2026, in Lebanon, Morocco, Jordan, and Egypt for a duration of 6 weeks or 3 months.

- Queens Collective (Morocco)
- Irtijal – Tassarout Third Place (Morocco)
- Foundation Hiba (Morocco)
- Goethe-Institut Cairo (Egypt)
These residencies offer opportunities for local exchange and networking with fellow artists, groups, and institutions. Participants will also benefit from project development support and the chance to showcase their work or work-in-progress at a public event centred on Halaqat’s themes of care and gender, while enjoying and exploring their host city/country.
