Our brokerage services will serve as our first point of contact through which artists, representatives of organisations and the general public is able to send queries, address difficulties, receive and give feedback, develop ideas, make contact with entities or other stakeholders. Additionally, our brokerage services take a more proactive approach in implementing Arts Council Malta’s role as an active broker in the field by organising regular sessions and workshops to share information and good practices, debate cultural matters and facilitate networking between peers and other stakeholders.
Our creative brokerage team will also ensure that our services are accessible to creative and cultural sectors.

In 2024, the Brokerage Section received a total of 3357 queries, out of which 923 were answered by phone and 2,434 via email. This results in an average of 13 to 14 queries per working day and is equivalent to an increase of 49.35% in phone, and 30.79% in email queries, compared to queries received in 2023. The team provided a prompt and effective support with expert advice to the Cultural and Creative Sectors, completely free of charge. We remain committed to delivering a service of excellence, ensuring that each query is addressed with the highest level of care and service quality.
